Giganews Updates Privacy Policy in Response to GDPR
You've probably received numerous correspondence this week in regards to Privacy Policy updates from numerous entities. Those updates were in response to GDPR, General Data Protection Regulation in the EU. GDPR is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals in the European Union. GDPR is designed to protect individuals' information that is collected by private entities over the internet. Breaking these rules can result in fines and sanctions. GDPR went into effect May 25, 2018.
